I’m Yinxuan Wang
I am a PhD candidate at the Wilf Family Department of Politics, New York University.
My research interests lie at the intersection of computational methods and political science. Methodologically, I specialize in text analysis, machine learning, and causal inference with multimodal data. Substantively, my current research focuses on repression, ethnicity, and political participation within authoritarian regimes.
Before joining NYU, I earned an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS, as well as a B.S. in Applied and Computational Mathematics and a B.A. in International Relations and the Global Economy from the University of Southern California.
